Write your own Life
"whatever the mind can conceive and believe it can achieve."
-Napoleon Hill
I've been reAding Chicken Soup and this story interesting, so i wAnted to sHare it with the you to those who gonNa read this....
Suppose someone gave you a pen-sealed, solid-colored pen.
You couldn't see how much ink it had. It might run dry after the firstfew tentative words or last just long enough to create a masterpiece that would last forever & make a difference in the scheme of things. You don't know b4 u begin.
Under the rules of the game, u really nver know. You hav to take a chance!
Actually, no rule of the game states u must do 'nything. Instead of picking up & using the pen, u could leave it on a shelf or in a drawer where it will dry up, unused.
But if u do decide to use it, what would u do w/ it? How would u play the game/
Would u plan and plan b4 u ever wrote a word? Would your plans be so extensive that u never got the writing?
Or would u take the pen in hand, plunge right in and just do it, struggling to keep up w/ the twists and turns of the torrents of words that tae u where they take u?
Would u write continuously & carefully, as if th epen might run dry the next moment, or would u pretend or believe that the pen will write forever and proceed accordingly?
And of what would u write. Of love? Hate? Fun? Misery? Life? Death? Nothing? Everything?
Would u write to please just yourself? Or others?...
Would your strokes be tremblingly timid or brilliantly bold? Fancy w/ a flourish or plain?
Would u even write? once u have the pen, no rule says u have to wrtie. Would you sketch? Scribble? Doodle or draw?
Would u stay in or on the linees, or see no lines at all, even if they were there? Or are they?
Now suppose someone gave You a Life...
